Restore the Commerce Server 2002 Databases

This topic explains how to restore the Commerce Server 2002 Starter Site databases that you backed up earlier in the walkthrough.

To restore the Commerce Server 2002 Databases

  1. In SQL Server, right-click Databases, and then click Restore Database.

  2. In the Restore Database dialog box, click From Device, and then click the ellipsis button […] to locate the Commerce Server 2002 Starter Site databases that you previously backed up.

  3. In the Specify Backup dialog box, click Add to add the CS2002StarterSite_BDPermissions database backup to the Backup location list, and then click OK.

  4. Select CS2002StarterSite_BDPermissions in the Select the backup sets to restore list.

  5. In the To database drop-down list, select the CS2002StarterSite_BDPermissions database.

  6. In the Select a page dialog box, click Options, select Overwrite the existing database, and then click OK.

  7. Repeat this process to restore each Commerce Server 2002 Starter Site database that you have backed up.

  8. Restore the archived analysis database that you previously backed up.
