Manage an eventstream in Microsoft Fabric

This article describes how to manage an existing eventstream. On the workspace page, select ... (ellipsis) next to your eventstream and you should see a few ways to manage your eventstream.

Open an eventstream

When you select Open and then Open in background, the eventstream is opened and a link is shown on the left navigation bar.

If you select your eventstream on the left navigation bar, you see the eventstream in the editor.

Delete an eventstream

If you select Delete from the context menu, you see a window asking for your confirmation. On the confirmation window, select Delete to delete the eventstream.

Configure settings for an eventstream

If you select Configure from the context menu, you can do the following actions:

  • Change the eventstream name
  • Configure sensitivity label
  • Endorse the eventstream
  • Configure retention settings
  • Configure throughput settings

Add to favorites

If you select Favorite from the context menu, it's added to the Quick access section of the home page for your workspace.

The option on the context menu changes to Unfavorite and if you select that option, your eventstream is removed as a favorite from the quick access section.

View lineage

If you select View lineage from the context menu, you see an overview of where all the data comes from and goes to.

To switch back to the list view, select List view button at the top-right corner.
