What are the Hardware Deployment Requirements?
This section lists the hardware requirements for each computer in a Commerce Server 2009 deployment. Although these guidelines represent the approximate amount of resources necessary to operate the prescribed software, the actual specification of the hardware that you deploy might vary depending on the resources and requirements of your particular environment.
All computers should be equipped with a CD drive or DVD drive and a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 or Windows Server 2008 compatible VGA or higher-resolution monitor. Additionally, we recommend 100 MBps or larger bandwidth for the network adapter cards.
The following table lists the minimum and recommended hardware requirements for a single server deployment when running Commerce Server 2009 with the Commerce Foundation, SharePoint Commerce Services, Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS), and Commerce Server Update installed.
