Does Microsoft use Microsoft CRM internally?

Yes, Absolutely! Let me tell you how we use it in the CRM product team in particular. Everyone across the product team, from program mangers to developers, testers, project managers, planners, designers, etc use CRM on a daily basis and for our critical processes and operations. We manage our partners and customers relationships as well as the full product development cycle (planning, development, testing, release, etc) using the same CRM product that we released to our customers last year! The product provides a huge value proposition to our team, provides substantial productivity boost and has become an inseparable part of our daily activities. But we are not the only product team who uses it at Microsoft. There are ‘many’ other products and operational teams across the company who also use Microsoft CRM to run their businesses and the number is growing day by day!

If you use it internal can you tell me how I can assign a task to another user with the CRM 3.0 for outlook using the outlook button "assign task". When I try it it tell me that it is not supported by the CRM ??? !!!

Is it what you call a "complete" integration between outlook and CRM ????
Thanks in advance for your help

You can assign CRM tasks to other CRM users right inside Outlook.  Select "Microsoft CRM" folder in your Outlook left pane, select WorkPlace>My Work > Activities, select the task that your are interested in assigning and then click on the "Assign" button just above the Grid.  You can also link Outlook tasks to CRM tasks and assign them to other users right from the task form.  For this to work, you need to ensure that in your options you have selected Synchronize my tasks.
