MMS 2011: 2 Sessions, 1 State of the Union, and 100’s of Customers Conversations
I’ve landed. My bags didn’t arrive so the first evening in Vegas was one of no relaxing. I now can officially relax and get excited as we prepare for this great week. As many of you already know, Microsoft is preparing for this week’s Management Summit 2011 in Las Vegas. This is a great event, not only for his content but also its incredible knowledge transfer capabilities. As a team member in the greater Management & Services Division (MSD) at Microsoft I can tell you this is our division’s flagship event, occurring only once a year. To learn more from our leader, Brad Anderson, please see this video posted that talks about the keynotes taking place this year.
The key reason I bring up this conference is it hits right at home on the products I love – Configuration Manager, Operations Manager, Virtual Machine Manager, and lastly Data Protection Manager. This year we will even have more products to discuss and I love the opportunity to chat with my colleagues from the respective groups because as busy as our day jobs keep us we often don’t have time to sync up. Beyond that, I would love to talk with any of my twitter & blog followers to learn what issues, problems, or questions you’ve stumbled upon that I might help with.
If you aren’t attending MMS 2011, my question is why? <grin>
It will be a busy week for myself, personally. If you are interested, I’m sharing the session details where I will surface as one of the presenters or at minimal a “demo monkey.” Look for some exciting announcements coming from the Configuration Manager team, as well as my team, in the coming week along with some technical blogs on what we’ve built. (this is all you get for now!)
