How did I miss Spore?
We were runners-up in the category of "Best Simulation" to Spore, which isn't surprising because there has been a lot of talk about it, and it won best in show overall.
But when I was at E3, I didn't see Spore at all. If there were any huge banners or video screens promoting it, I completely missed them. Perhaps they believe that the game is good enough that it doesn't require a huge spend on marketing?
It will be interesting to see how Spore does when it ships (not sure when).
