    I would like to start testing FDCC with Windows 7, will the GPO's and this utility work on Windows 7? [Aaron Margosis]  Set_FDCC_LGPO explicitly checks for supported platforms before it runs.  FDCC has defined settings for XP SP2 and SP3 and for Vista RTM and SP1.  There are no settings defined for Win7.  The tool as currently written will therefore refuse to run on Win7.

    I accidently ran te script on my computer.  How can I reverse this?  Please help me.  My email address is[address removed].  thanks.   [Aaron Margosis]  Yikes!  If you ran it without the /sec option, it's pretty easy to clean up.  Under %windir%system32GroupPolicy, delete the registry.pol files under the Machine and User folders.  Then run "gpupdate /force".

    Thanks, it worked.  Would you delete my email address?  Also I'm getting a msg "The application for project Set_FDCC_LGPOSet_FDCC_LGPO.vcproj is not installed.  I'd like to see the source code.  thanks. [Aaron Margosis]  I removed the email address this morning.  (You should be more careful about that -- it takes the spammers little time to harvest those.) As to the error you're seeing, I don't know - I can't reproduce that problem.  The project is built with Visual Studio 2005.  Make sure that when you extract the files, you retain the directory structure.  Double-click on the .sln file to open it.
