Tech·Ed 2004: May 23-28 in San Diego, CA

The Event Site is up for the US Tech·Ed 2004. San Diego at the end of May... Great content and the weather should be glorious! There are a couple of special offers right now. Register by March 1 to be entered in a drawing for “VIP treatment“, including Limo rides to and from the airport, a swank suite, and VIP seating for the keynote. You also get $300 off if you register before April 16. This year, all registered attendees receive the DVD set free as part of their registration. The conference tracks look great, especially the one on Business Productivity Solutions:

Learn how the new tools in the Microsoft Office System provide a rich platform for business solution development, leveraging the Microsoft .NET Framework and extensive support for XML, Web services, and other industry standards. Sessions offer in-depth, developer-level training for solutions using Office 2003 Editions, InfoPath™, SharePoint™ Portal Server, Windows SharePoint Services, FrontPage® 2003, Project and Project Server, and Visio®. Learn how to: use InfoPath to connect people to LOB applications and business processes, so information can be collected more flexibly and efficiently; exploit the capabilities of customer-defined XML in Word and Excel documents; use SharePoint products and technologies to build solutions that connect people to each other and business processes; and much more. Also featured in this track are sessions on deploying and managing a Rights Management infrastructure to support Information Rights Management in Office 2003, deploying and managing Live Communication Server, and deploying and managing Content Management Server. Session content is complemented by hands-on-labs and online resources, including Webcasts.

As does the one on Developer Tools and Technologies:

Learn everything you need to design, develop, and deploy mission-critical applications, and take your software development skills to the next level. The developer tools and languages track provides deep technical content that covers the best of Visual Studio® .NET 2003, while preparing you for the future with Visual Studio “Whidbey.” Sessions cover language enhancements, IDE productivity features, Windows and Web programming, architectural guidance, Office programmability, programming mobile devices, Web services, and more. Acquire skills that will make an immediate impact, while learning what you need to be ready for Visual Studio “Whidbey.”

Interested in Tech·Ed 2004 outside of the US? It looks like Israel, Europe (love that pic of Don Box!) and China have their sites up as well.
