Lync 2013 Mobile: Get more from your meetings

By Angela Chin, Program Manager, Lync Mobile Team

The recent updates for Lync for Windows Phone and Lync for iPhone allow you to get more out of your meetings. Now you can view meeting content and manage meeting participants even when you’re on the go.

Viewing meeting content

When other participants in the meeting are presenting content you can view it on your mobile phone.

If you want to get a closer look at what’s being shared you can:

- Pinch and zoom to magnify the content, once you’re zoomed in you can pan around the screen to find what you’re looking for

- Go into immersive view to see content, not controls (tapping on the screen will bring back your controls)

- Move to landscape to utilize screen space

Manage meeting participants

Just because you’re on the go doesn’t mean you can’t control certain aspects of the meeting. From the participants list you can now remove unwanted participants from a meeting or mute someone if needed.

"Desmond Lee" I already have. No response there either.  Are you part of the MS Lync team ?  If you're not then the query was not addressed to you, it was intended for the Lync team who appear to be asleep at the wheel on this issue and apparently don't follow their own blog.

Do these new features also work when having a Lync 2010 server on premies (including edge roles)?
