Trait of an agile environment: disciplined design work

An typical misconception about agile development is that equals to undisciplined work, my observations so far are quite the contrary. Agilists see the way to go fast is by means of well tested and clean code, in other words “The way to go fast, is to go well” see The Tortoise and the Hare by Robert C. Martin.
