One Year Anniversary of my Blog
Today is the one year anniversary of my blog and I would like to reflect on the time that has passed.
During this year I have had periods with frequent postings and periods with no postings at all, and the topics of the posts have also change quite a bit over time. June through September I talked about BizTalk and .NET development, then during October through March I focused on Team Foundation Server (TFS), and now that I once again try to restart this blog the topics has changed to MOSS (SharePoint).
Theses changes in topics reflect what I have been working with. For many years I have been focusing on BizTalk and .NET development but during the fall of 2006 I got the opportunity to lead a team developing a solution based on MOSS. My role in this project was project leader and architectand as a result my technology focus shifted to MOSS and TFS. After leaving this project in March I have been involved in both a customer project and a proof-of-concept using MOSS, but this time as a developer.
So what have the community response been to my posts? Has anyone listed to what I've had to say? Well, at least some have listened but you are not that many :-) There are almost no Comments to my blog and the number of track/ping-backs are also very low.
In the coming year I will try to do more regular posts, I cannot ignore a blog for three month and expect someone to read it... My topics will probably continue to follow my current assignment, so expect more on MOSS in the near future.
