How to Display Performance Health Monitors' Thresholds

To display monitor thresholds, use the script attached in this section. This script works for the majority of Performance Health monitors. It creates a .csv file that includes the following columns and that can be viewed using Excel.

Dispalys the followinf for Unit Monitors:

Management Pack "MP": The Management Pack Name

Target: Target Class

Monitor Display Name: The display name of the monitor

Threshold: The threshold used by the monitor

AlertOnState: Determines whether the monitor generates an alert when the state changes

AutoResolveAlert: Determines whether the generated alert will be automatically resolved when the monitor state goes back to green

AlertSeverity: The severity of the generated alert

How to run the script:

  1. Open The Operations Manager Shell
  2. Run the PS script GET-MONITOR-threshold.ps1
  3. Check the output in C:\Thresholds

The exported file can be viewed using Excel
