VMNet driver not working with Device Emulator

I have seen many people hitting into issues where they had installed VMNet driver but it is not working - device emulator complaining it's absence.     Thanks for this link.  I had to manually add the service and point it to C:Program FilesVMNetSrv to install it but then the emulator images would install.
