Windows Key + Down Arrow–I didn’t know that

I accidently did Windows Key + Down Arrow.

  • For Windows Store apps - It turn out that is closes an app.  Interestingly enough, the app isn’t removed from memory.  If is suspended and removed from the Windows 8 Task list (Windows Key+Tab), but it remains in memory in case you load it again.
  • For Classic Windows apps – the app is minimized

Just learned something new :) Win + Down Arrow = Minimize Win + Up Arrow  = Maximize Win + Left Arrow = Fill up Left Half of screen with currently running App Win + Right Arrow = Fill up Right Half of screen with currently running App So much easier to do side-by-side editing now :)
