Update Rollup 2 for Windows MultiPoint Server 2012 is now available for download!

Hi all,

My name is Livi and I'm one of the Program Managers working on Windows MultiPoint Server. Today, we're excited to announce that Update Rollup 2 for Windows MultiPoint Server 2012 is now available for download through Windows Update. This update includes several fixes and performance enhancements, including:

  • Performance enhancements when launching the MultiPoint Manager or WMS Dashboard
  • Optimization of handling zero-client disconnects and error handling for MultiPoint Connector installations
  • Improved reliability of local stations and virtual desktop creation
  • Support for additional peripheral devices for stations

    After update, Still couldn't create template properly with the error message "Could not get the BootMgr object from the VHD's BCDStore".Computer used: HP 6200 ProThe ISO used: SW_DVD5_SA_Win_Ent_8.1_64BIT_English_MLF_X18-96759.ISO

    yes, UR2 addresses the VDI problem that existed with some UEFI BIOS systems.

    That's great! You mentioned that it's now available for download and through windows update but I'm not finding a download link.

    As an admin on your WMS Server, from control panel, run Windows Update, check for new updates, and it should appear.
