Microsoft Hyper-V Cloud

Designing a Private Cloud Solution will deliver many of the benefits of a public cloud computing environment – including self-service, scalability and elasticity with the additional control and customisation available from dedicated resources.

Microsoft has designed and produced a series of deployment guides that will allow IT Pros to design, deploy and operate a private cloud solution based on Microsoft Private cloud products.

The Hyper-V Cloud Deployment Guides are a collection of best practices based on a Microsoft Consulting Services framework. They are designed to help you deploy a private cloud solution using Windows Server 2008 R2 Hyper-V, System Center Virtual Machine Manager 2008 R2, and the Virtual Machine Manager Self-Service Portal 2.0.

Benefits:

  • Accelerate deployment by providing best practices for planning and delivering a Private Cloud solution based on Microsoft Virtualisation technologies.
  • Reduce training costs by providing methodologies for delivering Server Virtualisation scenarios.
  • Lower risk by providing real-world examples of problems and solutions encountered by Microsoft architects and consultants
