Our Visual Studio Ecosystem team will be putting on a conference on September 15th and 16th.  It'll be a two day conference for anyone interested in learning more about extending Visual Studio.  If you're interested, the preliminary sessions have been posted at: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/cc676517.aspx
