A year after launching Developer Content Wiki - MSDN Wiki

Other than shipping Sandcastle and help content for VS products my team has been involved with the release of MSDN Wiki. Tomorrow (December 7, 2007) marks the 1 year anniversary of the launch of MSDNWiki. We have approximately 4000 worldwide developers worldwide sharing their knowledge in 9 different languages over the past year. We invite you to join them and contribute code and content in a wiki environment alongside the MSDN online documentation. Are you ready to contribute? Have you found a way to use Sandcastle with Web Site projects? Web Application projects won't work for me (I have 400+ .aspx files, and App_Code > 1MB) I only need need docs for App_Code, though. Somebody else had the same question on the forums: http://forums.microsoft.com/MSDN/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=1126154&SiteID=1 Thanks, Nathanael Jones

Nathanael, I posted a response to http://forums.microsoft.com/MSDN/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=1126154&SiteID=1. I checked with the ASp.NET compilation team. They tried a simple repro with some vb ''' doc comments and using the suggested codedom configuration. It seems that after compilation, the xml files are generated in the same location as the dlls in the “Temporary ASP.NET Files” folder.
