Interoperability and Transparency at its best - Releasing the Source Code for the .NET Framework Libraries
I'm not in Vegas for SAP TechEd this year (and I did not expect big surprises). Enterprise SOA is (technically) released so it is a logical move that we see some tools to navigate through services and connect the dots graphically.
A major surprise for me is the timing to release the source code for the .NET Framework Libraries with (later) integrated debugging support for VS2008. This is a huge step for Microsoft in transparency and interoperability since it enables developers to follow/debug unexpected behavior of written components down to the code level of the used libraries.
