Updated LINQ bits for VS 2005 RTM

We're all very excited about shipping VS 2005 and .NET Framework 2.0!  Woohoo!

Our earlier LINQ Tech Preview release worked as an add-on to VS 2005 Beta 2, and we are happy to have an updated LINQ release that works with the final VS 2005 bits.  See the LINQ page or Visual C# Futures page to get the new download.  While VS 2005 is final and release-quality, please bear in mind that our LINQ Tech Preview is definitely not.  We are making these pre-release bits available so that we can get early feedback.  Thanks!

Okay thats a great news. Any idea if we will have WinFX for RTM soon?

    Congrats.

Any word yet on the availability of service pack 1 for VS03?
Unfortunately that's our main goal at the moment. We will probably also be holding off until March05 before moving our enterprise projects across ... purely because of previous quality probs with VS. Hopefully the industry feedback will be good over the next few months to ensure our conversion.

Is there any way to obtain the prior Linq Preview for VS 2005 Beta? It will be some time before our shop upgrades, and I'd like to do some object persistence prototyping right away.

LINQ doesn't compile with final release of VS 2005. I'm using the LINQ Tech Preview UPDATE. Any clues why?
(This is the first time I try to use LINQ)
