SharePoint Designer 2013 RTM Now Available!

Hello all,

Sam Chung from the PM team in SPD here.  I’m happy to announce today that SharePoint Designer 2013 is now available for download here:

You’ve been seeing a lot of the new features we’ve announced so far in this blog and others.  Well now is the chance to download the new SPD and try it out yourself! Smile

    I think Microsoft have made a big mistake in removing design view from SharePoint designer. I'm definitely not an advanced SharePoint administrator/designer but I am the main person in my company to customise SharePoint and most of that was done using design view. Because of the lack of design view we are scrapping our plans of upgrading to SharePoint 2013 and will continue with SharePoint 2010.
