- Socket.io 1.0: New engine and everything.
PHP
HHVM 3.1.0: Latest and greatest.
PHP fights HHVM and Zephir with PHPNG: Happenings in the PHP space with PHPNG.
Ruby
Rails 4.1.2.rc1 and 4.0.6.rc1: New release candidates.
Upgrading to Ruby 2.1: For anyone about to make the jump.
Misc.
Building your first Grunt plugin: If you're using Grunt, there will come a time when you need to write your own plugin. Might as well learn how to do it now.
Pre-orders for Flame: Flame being the first Firefox OS developer phone.
Microsoft and SalesForce partnership: This is one of those things that touches a lot of things. Devices, Office, OneDrive, etc. It'll be interesting to see everything that comes out of this.
Flutter wireless: Wireless with a 1km range? Nice!
