Get a hotfix -- without having to call MS...
In this new age of the internet...
You now can obtain a hotfix without having to interact with a single soul ( no phone calls etc.. ) Easy and convenient.
Take for example my previous post for the netlogon DCR - 928576 which doesnt even have a public article yet. Try it...
https://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;928576
It errors out - no such article.
But - thanks to the Big Brainers ( seriously ) who think about our customers and really do care about their experience .. you can now simply go to thisURL and download most any fix
https://support.microsoft.com/contactus2/emailcontact.aspx?scid=sw;en;1410&WS=hotfix
You will get a form mail in response, and in it will be a link to the http site you can download the fix from.
Man -- this makes life SOOOO much easier for a lot of folks.
Thanks!

I used yahoo photomail until they changed to Flickr, which is a mess...wil not use. Usually send pictures only on my yahoo mail for family. Was set up to do outlook express but get error message as below. Also had spybot and stompsoft registry repair which interfered with downloads so delete both. PC runs faster and smoother. NOW ready for outlook or outlook express correct instal, hopefully minus errors. CAN I DO photo mails with microsft download that is not outlook(express)? Here is error message below. The host 'pop3hot.com' could not be found. Please verify that you have entered the server name correctly. Account: 'Hotmail', Server: 'pop3hot.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 11001, Error Number: 0x800CCC0DAnonymous

If your company doesn't enjoy a Microsoft Premier Support agreement, the process of obtaining a hotfix can be time consuming and painful. Nothing worse than being able to see the hotfix, but having to undergo the hours of pain to get it on the phone.Anonymous

I needed some help to find the latest versions of binaries. Like what if i want to search for the latest version(Hotfix Kb Article) of Winload.exe. I had to spend a lot of time to look for the latest one and ever after installing the same i figure out that we till have another updated hotfix available. So do we have any sort of single link to search for the updated hotfix binaries available on Microsoft Site. Regards; KarenAnonymous
