Microsoft Tag Reader update now available for Windows Mobile
We have just released an update to Microsoft Tag Reader for Windows Mobile users.
The update improves the experience for Windows Mobile touch screen devices as well as lengthens the legacy support for phones as early as the original Blackjack running Windows Mobile 5. As you know, we’re always improving the function and capability of Microsoft Tag and so it is important to keep your Tag application current and updated. This will help you have the best and most up to date experience possible.
In particular this latest update addresses a Tag Reader installation bug with Windows Mobile 5.0 based devices such as:
- Blackjack
- Dpod S900
- HTC 3300
- HTC Kaiser
- IPAQ 69xx
- Motorola q9h
- Palm Treo 700x
- PPC6700
- Xda Atom Exec
Also, Windows Mobile Touch devices that don’t offer a hardware key or ENTER button, such as the Acer Neo Touch, HTC HD2 & Touch 2, are now able to run Microsoft Tag Reader as well.
Microsoft encourages customers using the aforementioned devices to download the update today. To update your phone go to https://gettag.mobi page on your mobile browser. You will then be prompted to update your current version of Tag.
