I'm home!
Yesterday morning I landed in Sydney. It's fantastic, although a little strange to be home, even though "home" is a new city for us. Here is the view from our temporary accommodation by day...
...and by night...
...and just as the morning fog starts to lift:
I start work on Monday - as with all new jobs I don't really know what to expect but I'll let you know how it goes once I get started. Also I'll let you know about the plans for Enterprise Library 3.1 which are underway back in Redmond (it's basically a bug fix release) once I get some time to scratch myself :-)

Do you live in a lift? The perspective changes with every shot. :)Anonymous

I often thought i bet that's a great view whoever lives there, not so great with the noise from the fairground things but a good view all the same. I onyl had a holiday in Sydney but I miss the place everyday. Constantly wonder about moving out there.Anonymous

Josh - are you saying I'm making this all up? ;-) The first shot was actually taken from just outside the apartment. The second two were taken from the balcony (it's on the 13th floor). BinaryJam - I've only spent one night there but the noise wasn't bad at all so far. But I know I won't actually be able to afford to live here anyway, so I'll enjoy it while it lasts!Anonymous

Welcome back Tom! Will you be coming back to Canberra or staying in Sydney? Dave Jansen
