Hotmail with IE9 experience

As more sites are making use of the new IE 9 technologies we can start building a more interesting start menu with our favourite links:

Of course you can also do the task bard pinning. I personally like to organize these at the start menu instead. :)

I am having major issues composing email using hotmail especially when hitting backspace, backspace ends up changing all the text in the message, jumbles it and I have to compose a new email, I have tested this from all 3 of my workstations and its all the same behavior

Hi, Tried to reproduce the problem you described but it just worked fine with me on a few different machines. Are you using the beta or the tech preview? There's one issue, not related to backspace but with the mouseup event that can trigger a click event. This could cause a similar behaviour as the one you described, but not the backspace one... Also, have you tried enabling the compatibility mode? Cheers, Mat

The least well thought out part of hotmail is when they ask you to type in a set of misshapen letters to verify your account. Any person can type in the letters regardless of whether they have permission to use my hotmail or not. The only people the misshapen letter verification discriminates out are persons with a specific type of dyslexia. The letters look like falling snow to me. So the tool doesn't verify me, it verifies the user (valid or not) is not dyslexic.  Unless hotmail intends to deny dyslexics use of hotmail they have got to get rid of the misshapen letter mechanism and find something that actually verifies the user is me.
