"The infopath form template for the selected content type cannot be loaded"
A quick one for you.
If at some point you developed an InfoPath form and deployed it on your Sharepoint 2010 install as Web Browser Form , after upgrading to 2013 you may run into the following:
Edit a page on your 2013 server, Add an InfoPath Form Web Part and edit it. Try to add the form from the document library where you published your form.
The web part toolbox displays:
"The infopath form template for the selected content type cannot be loaded"
If you look down in the toolbox you will also notice that the Views dropdown is empty.
Explanation: The web part expects that the Solution (i.e. the InfoPath form to have at least 1 default View for the Form ( check this in InfoPath Designer under Page Design ->Views)
Solution:
Open your Form in InfoPath Designer 2013. Go to File->Form Options->Compatibility
Change the mode from Web Browser Form (InfoPath 2010) to Web Browser Form, save and quick publish your form ( a default view will be created and published ).

File > Does not contain an option called "Form Options". There is Info, New, Recent, Open, Save, Save As, Print, Public, Close, Account, Options. The most promising choice there is Options but it does not contain Compatibility. - Anonymous

I am using InfoPath 2007 and am getting the same error. Is there any way to resolve this issue w/o using InfoPath 2013?
