Remarques

Si le document a plusieurs éléments avec l’ID correspondant, cette méthode retourne le premier élément correspondant dans le document.

Notes

L’implémentation DOM doit avoir des informations qui définissent les attributs qui sont de type ID. Bien que les attributs de l’ID de type puissent être définis dans des schémas XSD ou des DTD, cette version du produit prend uniquement en charge celles définies dans les DTD. Les attributs portant le nom « ID » ne sont pas d’ID de type, sauf si tel est défini dans le DTD. Implémentations où il est inconnu si les attributs sont de type ID sont censés retourner null.
