httpModules Element (ASP.NET Settings Schema)
Configures the HTTP modules within an application. This element can be declared at any level in the configuration hierarchy.

Optional element. Adds an httpModules element to an application. |

Optional element. Removes all httpModules element from an application. |
remove |
Optional element. Removes a reference to an httpModules element. The value must exactly match that of a previous add directive. |

Default Configuration
The following default httpModules element is configured in the Machine.config file in the .NET Framework version 1.1.
