BeginUpdateUserOrGroupInformation Method

Updates the specified user or user group with the given information. The user invoking this method must already have been granted IsUserAdministrator permission. Users and groups that are provisioned from Active Directory have a set of GroupChatPrincipalInformation that can be updated using this method. Federated users and groups have additional information stored about them which can be updated if this method is invoked with a GroupChatFederatedUserInformation or a GroupChatFederatedUserGroupInformation.

  An object to be passed back to the callback.

Exceptions

Exception	Condition
ArgumentException	Thrown when invalid arguments are passed.
[Microsoft.Rtc.Collaboration.GroupChat.ChatServerConnectionException]	Thrown when the GroupChatEndpoint is not established.
[System.InvalidOperationException]	Thrown when the chat server connection is not in a valid state to send the command.
[RealTimeException]	Thrown when the GroupChatEndpoint encounters an error communicating with the group chat server.
