Use the Voice Response Debugging Window dialog box to test the usability of an application and to control the paths taken in a managed code voice response application during debugging.
Control Inputs to the Application During Usability Testing
To control application inputs
Start a debugging session.
For more information, see How to: Start a Debugging Session.
When the usability subject delivers a response, select Keyword Values on the User Input tab.
In the Keyword Values box, select the desired keyword, and then select the desired recognition confidence value.
Click Submit.
Usability Testing with the Voice Response Debugging Window
In addition to using keyword values, you can enter commands, emulate errors, override the subject's spoken input with text input, or submit a .wav file as a response to application prompts. The key is that the author can intervene at any point and pick what path the application takes through the dialog.
