20.1.9.18 prstGeom (Preset geometry)
This element specifies when a preset geometric shape should be used instead of a custom geometric shape. The generating application should be able to render all preset geometries enumerated in the ST_ShapeType list.
[Example: Consider the scenario when a user does not wish to specify all the lines and curves that make up the desired shape but instead chooses to use a preset geometry. The following DrawingML would specify such a case.

prst (Preset Shape) |
Specifies the preset geometry that is used for this shape. This preset can have any of the values in the enumerated list for ST_ShapeType. This attribute is required in order for a preset geometry to be rendered. [Example: Consider the sample DrawingML below. In the above example a preset geometry has been used to define a shape. The shape utilized here is the sun shape. end example] The possible values for this attribute are defined by the ST_ShapeType simple type (§20.1.10.56). |
