Return Values

Most RPC protocol methods have return values. The Return Values section of the reference page includes up to three subsections:
**Success **This section shows return values of methods that succeed. The content of the Success section varies depending on the POST. For a detailed description of this section, see Successful Return Values.
**Error **This section shows return values of methods that fail. The Error section includes a link to the error message formats for one of the following: Error Message Format for FrontPage 2002 Server Extensions or Error Message Format for Windows SharePoint Services. Some methods also list error messages that are specific to the method in use.
