L'interface IFilterProvider doit être utilisée avec les WebParts qui doivent passer d'une collection de valeurs de filtre à un composant WebPart consommateur. Les événements de IFilterProvider ont été conçus en vue de la définition et la suppression de plusieurs valeurs de filtre. Il peut être utilisé dans les scénarios où la partie consommateur a été conçue avec une bonne compréhension du type de données passées par l'article de fournisseur.
