FileName Element for FileSpec (ADF)

Specifies the file name and path of a physical data file used by the application database.

Syntaxe

<Database>
    <NamedFileGroup>
        ...
        <FileSpec>
            ...
            <FileName>

Characteristic	Description
Data type	string, between 1 and 260 characters in length.
Default value	None.
Occurrence	Required once per FileSpec element.
Updateable	Cannot be added, deleted, or modified when updating the application.

Parent element	FileSpec Element (ADF)
Child elements	None.

Specify the full path and file name for the named filegroup in the FileName element.

The following example shows how to specify that the application database data file is in the C:\SQLData folder and is named StockPrimary.mdf.
