Remarque relative à la sécurité : |

When possible, prompt users to enter their credentials at run time. Avoid hard-coding or storing credentials in a file. If credentials must be persisted between runs, encrypt them using the Win32 CryptoAPI functions. For more information, see this Microsoft Web site. |
Important : |
---|
Support has been dropped for creating subscriptions to Subscribers running Microsoft SQL Server version 7.0 that are initialized using FTP. |

The default is no password. Typically, an e-mail address of the form user@company.com is used for FTP passwords.
These properties should not be required when you dynamically determine the FTP login properties by querying the publication. Provided for backward compatibility only: these properties will not be effective when used against Microsoft SQL Server 2000 or later publications unless the Subscriber is a Microsoft SQL Server 7.0 Subscriber.
