This method deletes a registry key.

In Windows Embedded Compact 2013, CoreCon HLAPI has been deprecated.

Syntax

HRESULT RegistryDeleteKey(
  LONG hKey,
  LPCOLESTR lpSubKey
);

Parameters

• hKey
  [in] Handle of the open key that contains the key to delete.

• lpSubKey
  [in] Subkey to delete.

Return Value

If the method fails, it returns an HRESULT error code.

If the method succeeds, it returns one of the following:

Value	Description
S_OK	Indicates the method call was successful.
E_INVALIDARG	Indicates invalid arguments.
