Windows Sockets Direct Reference

A SAN service provider DLL implements the Windows Sockets Direct functions to create a Windows Sockets service provider that services a system area network (SAN). A SAN service provider allows Windows Sockets applications using TCP/IP to use a SAN transparently. Windows Sockets Direct is part of:

  • Microsoft Windows 2000 Datacenter Server

  • Microsoft Windows 2000 Advanced Server SP2

  • Microsoft Windows 2000 Server Appliance Kit SP2

  • Microsoft Windows Server 2003

The Windows Sockets Direct Reference elements consist of:
