Fixing Remediation Problems

This section describes and provides solutions for problems that you might experience remediating noncompliant Network Access Protection (NAP) client computers and restoring full network access.
When a NAP client computer is noncompliant with network health requirements, you have the option to restrict its network access to a remediation network until such time as the client computer is compliant with requirements. Client computers might automatically remediate their health or the user might be required to update the computer manually. After remediation, the health of the client computer will be reevaluated; if it is compliant, it will typically be granted full network access.
The following is a list of known problems and solutions associated with remediation problems in a NAP deployment. Problems and solutions that might be inter-related are noted and linked if needed. Problems that have more than one possible root cause are noted and have more than one proposed solution. Choose the problem that best describes your situation, and then complete the procedures for the suggested fix. This list will be continuously updated as new problems and solutions are found.
