Desdemona font family
Overview
This handsome face originated in Vienna many years ago when high-waisted capital alphabets were very fashionable. In the 1960s, John McConnell revived Desdemona when he and Chris Dubber started Face Photosetting, one of the first of European ad setting companies in London. Since then, Desdemona has appeared all over the world. You are as likely to see it over a shop on the Olympic Peninsula in the state of Washington as under the shadow of Olympus itself in Greece.
