This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
You can use the Microsoft Search API in Microsoft Graph to sort search results. To sort the results, specify the sortProperties property in a searchRequest object and identify a resource property in entityTypes to sort matches by, in ascending or descending order.
Sorting is supported for SharePoint and OneDrive items. The property of SharePoint and OneDrive items to be sorted on should be sortable in the search schema.
Sorting is also supported for external items. The property of external items to be sorted on should be refinable in the search schema.
The default sort order is ascending. Set the isDescending property to change it.
