I’m using the webinar feature in Microsoft Teams and I’ve noticed an issue in the pop-up window for the speaker biographies: the text overlaps, making it difficult to read. I would like to report this problem to Microsoft, but I’m not sure how to contact the appropriate support team.

Additionally, I’d like to know whether it’s possible to customize the confirmation emails sent to webinar registrants. The default automatic text is poorly written and not suitable for professional communication.

To report the speaker biography pop‑up text overlap issue, you can choose any of these methods: 

1.Through the Microsoft Feedback Portal  

  • Go to Microsoft Teams · Community  
  • Sign in with your Microsoft account.  
  • Choose Send Feedback and fill in the form.   
  • Describe your suggestion clearly and concisely.  
  • Submit and optionally upvote similar ideas from other users.  

2.You can also give feedback within the Teams desktop app:   

  • Click the three dots next to your profile > Feedback > Choose Report a problem.

  • You can fill in the form with your ideas and description to submit feedback.   

3. Open an official support ticket 

Microsoft Technical Support Team can perform deeper diagnostics and, if needed, escalate the case to the appropriate internal team for further analysis. This ensures the issue is formally tracked and may contribute to a future fix.  

  • Find your Microsoft 365 admin: If you don't know who the global admin is in your organization, you can find guidance here: How can I find my Microsoft 365 admin? - Microsoft Support   
  • Submit a service request: The Global Administrator should create a support request with Microsoft to receive advanced technical assistance. For detailed instructions, see: Get support - Microsoft 365 admin | Microsoft Learn   
  • If your organization's Office 365 Business/Education subscription is from a partner or reseller, and the global administrator is unable to open a service request on your end, contact the reseller's support provider to help open a service request on behalf of you instead.   

What to include in all reports: 

  • Teams client: version number from Settings > About Teams > Version 
  • OS and display settings (Windows display Scale/Zoom %, multi‑monitor yes/no) 
  • Webinar type: Standard Webinar vs. Teams Premium features enabled 
  • Repro steps  
  • Screenshots or a short screen recording 
  • Whether it reproduces in Teams desktop, Teams web, and another PC  

To customize the confirmation emails sent to registrants:  

You will need to have the Teams Premium add-on license. If you have Teams Premium, organizers can edit the email sender name, subject, banner/logo images, and body text, and (for reminders) adjust the send time. Without Teams Premium, the emails use Microsoft’s default templates and wording.

To check whether your account has the Teams Premium add‑on license: 

  • Open the Teams desktop app. 
  • Click the three dots (Setting and more button) next to your profile picture.

  • Look for an option that mentions “Teams Premium benefits.” 

If you see it, you likely have the Teams Premium license and can use the email editing feature. If you don’t see it, your organization may need to purchase the license first.
