Billed on wrong subscription despite having Visual Studio $50 credit. Cannot find VS subscription in portal

Hi everyone,

I'm hoping someone here or a Microsoft representative can point me in the right direction, as I'm having trouble reaching the Billing support directly through the portal.

I have a Visual Studio Professional subscription that includes a $50 monthly Azure credit. I successfully activated the benefit via my.visualstudio.com and started using some services (like Azure OpenAI), fully assuming the costs would be deducted from my monthly credit.

Instead, I just received an unexpected invoice for €19.20. It turns out my resources were automatically deployed under a standard Pay-As-You-Go subscription named "Azure subscription 1", completely bypassing my $50 credit. I have already paid the invoice today to keep my account in good standing and avoid any service interruptions.

I have two main questions:

Refund Request: Since this was an honest configuration mistake and my actual usage (€15.74 net) was well within my unused $50 credit, is there any way to request a one-time refund or account credit?

Missing VS Subscription: This is my biggest issue right now. Even though I activated the benefit, I cannot see the "Visual Studio" subscription anywhere in my Azure Portal. I have already checked the global subscription filters and checked the "Directories + subscriptions" settings to see if it was on a different tenant, but it's simply not there.

How can I make this subscription appear so I can move my resources to it and properly use my $50/month going forward?

Any help or advice on how to fix this or how to open a direct billing ticket would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!!
