Subject: Lack of context continuity between Chat and Live Voice modes in Copilot

Hello, I would like to report a significant issue affecting the usability of Copilot during technical workflows.

I use Copilot extensively for complex technical tasks, and I recently discovered that the Live Voice mode does not maintain any continuity with the ongoing chat session. When switching from chat to voice, Copilot starts a completely new instance with no access to the existing context, previous instructions, or project details.

Observed behavior:

Live Voice does not inherit the chat context

No memory of previous steps or shared information

The ongoing project cannot continue in voice mode

The user is forced to repeat all details from scratch

This breaks the workflow and results in loss of time and consistency.

Expected behavior: Live Voice should share the same session and memory as the chat mode, allowing seamless transition between the two without losing context.

Technical assessment: This does not appear to be a limitation of the AI model itself, but rather a lack of integration between session management components. Context persistence should be unified across modalities.

Suggested improvement: Implement a shared session memory between Chat and Live Voice, with automatic synchronization of context and conversation state.

Lavoro insiame a Copilot a un progetto sul mio computer, passiamo dua giorni interi a chattare e cercando e provando a risolvere, terminale e comandi mirati a tutto spiano, a un certo punto decido di mettermi in vivavoce per avere le mani libere e manovrare tra terminale e cartelle da aprire e chiudere, clicco in chat-voce e ti ritrovi a parlare con un'altra AI distaccaca completamente dalla chat, macche' cagata e' mai questa? Io mi aspettavo di parlare con lo stesso assistente con cui lavoravo da due giorni e invece no! Allora scrivo con Brillo, cosi l'ho ribattezzato, ma che cagata e' mai questa??? TU sei una AI e sicuramente sei in grado di risolvere, mi risponde di si e ho preparato a spron battuto le segnalazoni e le ho spedite a chi di dovere ..
