More ADFS Docs are in the Pipeline...See What's on the Horizon

The current plan is to provide the vast majority of IT Pro-based ADFS documentation (for R2 primarily) by the end of 2006. We are in the process of writing the ADFS Deployment Guide now and plan to update the existing ADFS Design Guide soon afterwards. For more information about ADFS documentation in the pipeline, see the ADFS Doc Schedule section of this blog.

Will the new documentation have instructions for setting up an ADFS proxy? The current step-by-step guide (March '06 version) glazes over the proxy configuration

    Thanks!

The purpose of the new step-by-step guide is to provide instructions necessary to set up a working ADFS demo for use with Longhorn Server. Unfortunately, it will not include information about how to set up an ADFS Proxy at this time.

I will go ahead and file a tracking bug for this work and see if we can get it into both the LH and R2 versions of the guide as an appendix. In the mean time, there is some information about how to set up an ADFS proxy up on http://technet2.microsoft.com/WindowsServer/en/Library/c2743cb5-44b5-4530-a0d7-9e610822ed751033.mspx that may help get you started.

    Thanks for your comment.
