Diagnostics and Recovery Toolset (DaRT) 8 Beta Released!

Today, we are happy to announce that the DaRT 8 beta has been released for public download. 

For more detailed information on this announcement, please read the recent Windows for Your Business Blog and Springboard Series Blog.

This is a public beta available to everyone that completes the short questionnaire. We are very excited about this release and encourage everyone to download it and try it out. You can sign up and download the beta installer files from the DaRT 8 Connect site.

DaRT will be generally available as part of the next version of the Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack (MDOP).

    Hi, im aIT technician for many different schools, im independent so dont have any of my own Volume Licences. How do I get a copy of MDOP and is there a cost can you reply to derrick@gmx.com  Please Many Thanks

    Thanks for the interest in MDOP.  There are a few ways to get it.  For testing purposes you can get it from a TechNet or MSDN subscription.  For use in a production environment, the machines must be covered under Windows Client Software Assurance (SA) and then you must purchase an MDOP subscription.  Once you have done this, you can download the software from the volume licensing service center. The schools you support will need to do this.  If you were to purchase SA and MDOP it would be for your company and not be for the machines at the school.

    Geht das auch auf Deutsch??? Ich haben nicht vor englisch zu reden! Es dürfte doch nicht so schwer sein einen Übersetzer einzustellen, bei den Preisen!
