VS loves RESX

I have a web project where all my strings are in a satellite resource assembly.  As a result, I have been deleting the resx files that are created with each new web form.  The annoying thing is that when I open up a web form and click the designer, Visual Studio recreates the resx for that particular web form and I am forced to delete it again.

Is there a way to turn this feature off?  I would like to have my source tree remain pretty clean and not have all these unused resx files lying about.  Thanks.

    Nope. I haven't found any way to turn those off. There's a lot of stuff that VS.NET does like that that should probably be turned off.

    One other thing I wish for is more support for CSS in <asp:...> controls rather than having attributes for things like Font-Family...

    No you actually cannot turn off this behavior because VS uses the resx file to serialize design time properties.

    Perhaps you could open the code with View Code every time? I personally wouldn't remember to do that, but it may work?:)
