Restituisce l'input GEOGRAPHY o GEOMETRY in formato WKT.

Syntax

st_astext ( geoExpr )

Arguments

  • geoExpr: un valore GEOGRAPHY o GEOMETRY.

Returns

Valore di tipo STRING. Il valore restituito è la descrizione WKT del valore dell'input GEOGRAPHY o GEOMETRY.

La funzione restituisce NULL se l'input è NULL.

-- Export a 3DZ Cartesian point, given in GeoJSON format, in WKT format.
> SELECT st_astext(to_geometry('{"type":"Point","coordinates":[2.718281828,3.141592653,100]}'));
  POINT Z (2.718281828 3.141592653 100)
