Il codice per l'editor personalizzato mostra un editor derivato dalla classe System.Drawing.Design.UITypeEditor che visualizza una finestra di dialogo popup modale per l'immissione di una password. Il metodo GetEditStyle override restituisce UIEditorEditStyle.Modal per indicare un sottocontrollo modulo modale. Il metodo di servizio ShowDialog gestisce il controllo creato con CreatePassword. ShowDialog restituisce un oggetto DialogResult gestito nel modo consueto ,ad esempio un'istruzione switch, con la modifica del valore solo maiuscole e minuscole DialogResult.OK .
