La proprietà ConnectionManager contiene, o imposta, un riferimento all'istanza effettiva dell'oggetto IDTSConnectionManager100 contenuto nel package. In tempo reale, questo riferimento viene impostato automaticamente dal motore di esecuzione SSIS usando la ConnectionManagerID proprietà di localizzare la connessione nel package e assegnare un riferimento.

Al momento della progettazione, SSIS Designer esegue questa assegnazione quando carica e inizializza un componente. Tuttavia, quando si carica e modifica programmaticamente un componente, usando il modello oggetto al di fuori del progettista, la proprietà deve essere impostata esplicitamente. I componenti non hanno la capacità di fare riferimento esplicito alla connessione usando questa ConnectionManagerID proprietà perché la Connections raccolta del pacchetto non è esposta ai componenti.
